I know a lot of people give them away from free, but do people ask for credits for them as well? I have quite a few unpostables, well they are in that gray area, but they are HUGE books and I would hate to send them for free, it would cost me a fortune. Is asking for a credit for an unpostable acceptable? |

It's acceptable to do so, but only in the Book Bazaar Forum. You should find a thread addressing how to go about it there. Cheryl |

Yes, you can ask for a credit for an unpostable book as long as follow the rules they've set up for it (1) It can only be done in the Book Bazaar (2) You need to explain the damage so people know what they are paying a credit for(3) You can only ask the PBS rate no asking for more (4) You can only do this with books otherwise postable, no asking credits for none book items. |

Some people will take unpostables (like me). If someone has indicated they'll give you a credit for an unpostable, then that's between the sender and the receiver. Typically, you just advertise these books in the Bazaar, but I recently had someone PM me about an unpostable that was on my Wishlist, and since it sounded okay (minor water damage), I just had them post it directly to my Wishlist and they got a credit. |
