If you read a PM from your e-mail file, will it show as being read or unread in your PMs under unread messages? I understand that if I read a PM from the message file, it then shows as read, but don't know about whether it changes if it's only read in the e-mail. Thanks. Pat

I believe that PMs that are viewed from email do not show as "read" here.

Lisa is right. The system has no way to know when/if you check your e-mail. So, only when you access your PMs through the site will they reflect being "read".
