Excellant book. Well written with many likeable characters. All of the characters are believable with interesting stories and depth. The summary uses the word occult, but it is not satanic, or dark; rather looking for "elementals" or signs of fairies. Good mystery and interesting look into that time period. People caught up in their station in life, with few choices or opportunities to change.
