Gracie's niece Carter the assistant District Attorney from Chicago comes for a visit. Carter has an anonymous suitor believed to have followed her to Gracie's small town home in Indiana. She receives Chocolates and flowers from an anonymous suitor and is almost hit by a man on a motorcycle. Who would follow her from Chicago? Then Gracie is in charge of the annual blessing at her church of animals. Only is is decided to hold it outside because the farm members want to bring their "beloved sheep and cows" for Blessings. It is several mysteries in one which keep on unraveling to the last page.
