ISBN 0373160216 - Pretty standard romance; nothing special, nothing terrible. The greatest complaint I could make is about the cover - Michael Baylor's a tough, outdoorsy guy and the guy on the cover is the 1980s version of metrosexual, with a preppy sweater tied around his neck!

To Evelyn, depending on a man is a fate worse than death - and love is just a step toward sort of dependence. When her boss sends her to an "enrichment program" in Utah, she packs several bags full of make up and the wrong clothes for the outdoors. Embarrassed, but not particularly concerned, Evelyn attempts to make a deal with the instructor, Michael - sex in exchange for getting out of this experience the easy way.
She doesn't count on Michael double-crossing her, but then again, most of her experience with Michael is something she didn't count on. Evelyn's in love for the first time and scared to death. Can she let go of her work-aholic ways and open herself up to love?
I did get a little giggle out of "...in her mind the signal got crossed and only the liquid fire from his eyes poured into the circuitry of her bloodstream." but other than that, pretty much the usual stuff. The title doesn't seem to me to have any relevance to the story, other than sounding like the sort of he-man, throw her on the ground and take her sort of stuff some romance novels go for. That, however, could just be me. I wouldn't read it again but the first go-through didn't kill me.
