I have searched some of the books on my bookshelf under "Wish Listed items" and they have come up with several members who want them. Why then, are people not ordering them? I'm confused. Thanks

The Wish List is tied to ISBNs so I am guessing that the books on your shelf are the same titles, just not in the format wished for. The site sends emails to those members when the similar items are posted so they are usually aware of the other formats, but only want the one they are wishing for.

Sometimes a version doesn't get linked so that email doesn't go out. If you have a book that is the same format (ie you have a Hard Cover and there are wishers on a Hard Cover) then you can add a Tag to the wished for item that says something like "also available under ISBN#XXXX". I wouldn't tag a HC or audio wished for book with a paperback version since often times there are hundreds of copies available in the paperback while people are still looking for HC, audio or Large Print..

You can also advertise in the Book Bazaar that you have alternate ISBNs of Wish Listed books. There is a thread there dedicated to that or you can start your own.

Good luck and Happy Swapping!

I think that if it's a certain genre they have threads about books with different ISBN's.  In mystery/thriller I believe it's called is this on your Wish List?  There might be a thread mentioning a different ISBN - or as Melanie said advertise in the Book Bazaar.

I've found that if it's a genre WL book almost as soon as you post it you get a PM about it.  Definately have a note that they should PM rather than trying to watch the thread.
