I just got this book from the publisher and it is by the author of the Casa Dracula series, Marta Acosta.  It has a few of the same characters but no paranormal elements.  So far it is really good. It will be released on May 18.

This isn't a novel, but I really enjoy her writing.  I think it may be along the lines of a quasi - memoir.
