The PBS Team is upgrading its stored image server to better meet the needs of the site and is now in the process of migrating images from the current server to the new one. This is a long, slow process because the site has a LOT of images, on the order of several millions. Until the transition is complete, image displays and uploads will continue to be slow but if all goes well we should see improvements soon, possibly by the end of this week.
