Is it possible? My printer just died and I have no idea when I'll get a new one.....

Yes.  Just handwrite the address instead of printing a label.  There's even a "need to handwrite the address?" link when you go to print an address label.

Not having access to a printer does mean that you will not be able to use PBS-DC or printable postage, however.

Ok great. I don't use DC or printable postage anyways, so I'm good.

Make sure to also put down the transaction number.

I handwrite all the time and never bother with the transaction number.  Haven't had a problem yet. :)

Yeah the "Handwrite address" function is a breeze! Never had any problem with it. And my printer works, but after breezing through 2 cartridges in a short period of time.... I had to whip out the old ballpoint.

As Emily said, be sure to write down the transaction number (which you'll see under the return address) on your package.  And include your return address.  I just talked to a member who received a package without a return address, no legible postmark, no transaction number.  It's a book she didn't order and she has no way to contact the sender. :-(

I handwrite my address and I like to include an index card w/ both addresses on the inside of the package.
