I'm pretty sure this is a glitch.  I have a handful of WL books NOT on auto-request.  I put my account on vacation hold from 12/22 to 12/26.   One of these non auto-request books was offered up to me on 12/24 (I logged in to see my account during the vacation - something I wasn't sure I would be able to do.)   Had I not logged in and accepted it, I would've not gotten the book in time, as it would've timed out before I returned late 12/26.

From the help docs here, it says only auto-request books go through while on vacation hold.  So why did this happen?

Good question...it shouldn't have...those non-autorequested books are supposed to be just "suspended" at their place in line til you get back. Are you absolutely certain you had it marked off auto-request? I would let R&R know and ask what happened, as maybe it's happening to other folks, too. My account is currently on hold but my entire WL (except for a couple that aren't for me, where I'd need to change the address) is auto-requested and I just love that feature!

I thought it worked the other way - only your bookshelf gets held.  But, your wishlist requests go thru - that's why it reminds you to auto-request all of them.  Could be wrong though.

I had that happen during my recent vacation, but I know someone posted the book DIRECTLY to MY WL ... could that be the case?
