So... I'm not really a newbie, but I haven't actually had to use the hold features before.   I'm hoping to put my shelf on vacation hold-- does that freeze my wishlist too? Or are they two separate holds?  I won't be able to mail a book out, but I don't want to miss out on the chance for a WL book!   What to do, what to do?!?!?

Actually, I have a couple options, I just know that it would be easiest if I could put the shelf to vacation hold and the WL to auto-accept!

Thanks!

You can do just that.  Put your account on vacation hold and your WL on autorequest.  As long as you have credits in your account, the system will accept the offer for you.

That's really the only way.  You can put your posted bookson individual hold but then go all the way to the back of the FIFO line.  Not a huge deal for books with few in the system. But if you have some that are heavily posted and have been on your shelf awhile, you could wait years to work you way back up in the line. It's better to autorequest the WL books.

I usually just autorequest the ones that are rarely posted or have been on my WL along time, just incase they get offered when I'm away.
