If you place your account on vacation hold, do books hold their place in FIFO?

I'd like to put my shelf on hold while I read Mount TBR, but I don't want to lose my place in FIFO for my outgoing books.  I did a quick search in the help docs, but I probably missed it.

I'm hoping that I regain my place in the FIFO when I return, ;)  It's not like I won't be able to access the site, but I need to curb my addiction to this website if I plan to get anything read!!  I never knew I would become an addict on this site!

No your books won't loose their place in the FIFO with a vacation hold

As long as you put the whole account on hold your books stay in the FIFO line. You just get passed over while your books are on hold.  As soon as they come off you resume your place in line.  Same with WL books.  I have a huge TBR and would love to keep my shelf open and my WL off.  I frequently put the whole thing on hold just to stop the WL offers for awhile.  It would be nice to get shelf orders but at least they stay in line.  Sometimes I post a book or 2 that's got a lot of copies posted before I've read them.  Then I put my account on hold to stop the WL offers and read the books I posted.   If you put individual books on hold then you lost your place in FIFO for those books.
