I am leaving Saturday to go see my brother's graduation, I'll only be gone a week but my husband is staying here because he can't go :( so my question is should I put my account on Vacation Hold since my husband will be here?  He knows a little about the site and has my account info.  He is also the one that mails the packages anyway, I just do the wrapping.   Would it be alright to do that?  What do you think? 

I don't know about you, but I'd put it on vacation hold  with books I really want on WL on auto- request.  I may just be picky or controlling but I prefer to be the one who does the business with my membership since it is me that will suffer the consequences.  Of course, my DH would greatly prefer me to do that as well.

It's really up to you.  You can set up the account to autorequest any WL books you get offered.  You can set it up to (for example) If you leave on Sat and a book request comes in on Monday-have him wait until Thursday to accept the request and choose Monday as the mail by date. Then you can print the labels out and wrap them up when you get home the next weekend. If give you 5 full days and a partial day (varies by the time the book was requested) to accept a book request. Then you get up to 7 days to mark it mailed (last possible mail by date then 2 days to mark mailed). 

Personally-I would just put my account on vacation and autorequest any WL books where I was nearing the top of the line. 

Mary's explanation of how your DH should handle it is exactly why I would put it on Vacation Hold.  My DH would look at me like I was crazy if I told him that is what I expected him to do if he were to handle it.  He's not into the whole swapping books over the internet.  If he can't click on "buy it" then he doesn't want to be involved.  This is my problem and he only mails it at the PO.
