I think this is the third book of a series. Though I could understand the plot without having read the prior books, I think I would have had a better understanding of the characters if I had read the first two.
Story of old time like CSI. I loved the way they investigated and come up with conclusions. They had no computers or cell phones to help them, only lots of hard work and paying attention got them the villains in the end.
I ordered this book a few months ago and delayed reading it because I knew it was the last one in the series. I love Tamara Siler Jones' writing. Her characters constantly surprise me. There aren't many books that are out there that make me feel as if I know the characters. Another great mystery. I really hope to see Dubric once again!
