I'm working my way through this series by L.A.Banks, currently on book 6 (The Damned).  I'm getting tired of reading the same stuff over and over.   Damali and Carlos keep going over the same issues, pages and pages of which read like the dialog was lifted from the previous book, and these issues were supposedly resolved.  I got a quarter of the way through the 6th book and haven't read anything new, so I just put it down and moved on to another book.

Is this whole series of Vampire Huntress books like this?   If so, I'm going to take this author off my "must read" list....

i only managed to read the first Vampire Huntress book before i got rid of the rest of the books in that series i'd collected.  however, Bad Blood by her was really good.  so even if you give up on the Vampire Huntress books, you might want to give the other a try.  i've heard the same thing from several other people as well.

I enjoyed the frist one but could not finish the second one. It made me sad cause I met her and she is so nice. I had 4 of the books and I got rid of them.....and they were signed by her.

I read the first one, and had a hard time with it. I have the second one, but I am thinking I might just post it, since it doesn't hold much appeal to me.

I haven't tried her other series yet.

The first couple didn't catch my interest, but when I picked up the 3rd or 4th and started reading there.  I got interested until I got to the 6th, which I can't seem to get through.

I loved the first one but the second one was pretty much the first book rewritten with a few changes. Ive found that a lot of paranormal series are like that see my DH post in this forum.
