great easy read with everything you could want: a strong handsome brave hero and a strong brave heroine battling evil in the form of demons. Worth the read.

Good read. Book 3 in the Guardians series. Guardians are warriors who are offered the choice to stay and protect humans by fighting demons who slip through the many portals between them and the demon worlds. Those who accept become immortal, those who don't move on. Yes it is similar to Kenyon's Dark Hunter books - but without the convoluted elements [Apollites, Aphrodite's whims, etc:] that can tie up a Dark Hunter plot. Fast action-oriented plot, good characters and a hunky Celtic warrior - who can ask for more of a simple entertainment read?
