Anyone know why this keeps happening? I find a book that I am interested in ordering, then go to check on the hardcover version and it shows an entire different book. It has also happened when I wishlist a book, several other books not anywhere related comes up besides the one I want.

For example: Quick & Easy Autumn Recipes: More than 200 Yummy, Family-Friendly Recipes for Fall...Most in 30 Minutes or Less! :: Gooseberry Patch

When I clicked on this book to wishlist it, these are the books that came up: ( I know you must be laughing, lol)

These books all have "Quick Easy Autumn Recipes More than 200 Yummy FamilyFriendly Recipes for FallMost in 30 Minutes or Less" as the common title in the Wiki section at the bottom.  I remember one of the programmers here explaining at one point that this is a symptom rather than the cause of the problem linking the books.  It's something they are working on, I believe.

I just had that happen to me tonight-- I pulled up a book & it said there were 20 other versions(!!) of the book but NONE of them were the same book!  They weren't even close to the same topic.  I'd actually never had it happen before though.

What is it with cookbooks? I also hit one that over 20 alternate versions in the Wish List Expander that were not the same. Send in Feedback. They were actually able to fix the one I sent in recently.

I have been noticing that happening for the last month or so and not in cookbooks but in fiction. Frustrating!

Sally, you are right it isn't just happening with cookbooks. I placed a mystery book on my wishlist today and about 20 other books nothing to do with mysteries showed up. This is so strange.

I had a similar thing happen.  It was very strange. I sent an email to TPTB and they fixed it.

I noticed this too, when I was looking at the "other versions" listed for some children's books the other day... none of them were for the same book!  I thought it was strange at the time, but I guess it must be happening a lot.

Yup, had that issue when looking up a few children's books last week.   Just rather annoying as I got excited seeing many other versions and then found only 1 of the 30 shown were what I wanted.
