This recipe is for 1 dozen eggs which of course makes 24 deviled eggs.
While you boil your eggs, fry about 5 or 6 slices of bacon until they are very crisp. Drain them well on paper towels. When you slice the eggs and place the yolks in a bowl, smash well with a fork. Then add some Hellmans mayo. (Believe me Hellmans works best. Do not use Miracle Whip ! ) Add just enough mayo to make a nice smooth mixture. A little dry is better than too wet. Add abt. a tsp. of yellow mustard and whip well with the fork. Then crumble the bacon and mix it into the egg mixture. Stuff your eggs and sprinkle with a little paprika.
