I'm reading a new True Crime book called the Suspicions of Mr. Whicher by Kate Summerscale and its really interesting.  I love Victorian-y true crime, like The Devil's Gentleman & Devil in the White City and I've read a lot about Jack the Ripper. Can anyone recommend any other true crime books they enjoyed that are set in, not just the Victorian era, but in historical times?
