I just read the latest Vince Flynn political thriller "Protect and Defend." I am a huge fan and have read all his others. But am I the only one who was disappointed with this one? Maybe it was all the complexities of dealing with the different mid-eastern factions/groups/beliefs. It also seemed like he did a lot of research, and was determined to put everything he learned in this book, at the cost of having the plot move along quickly (?). I'm not sure; it just seemed more of a chore to get through than his others. |
