Fictionalized account of 18th century feminist Mary Wollestonecraft. Reads like a novel, not a biography. Good read, something different but not too intellectual.

What a miserable and depressing life this woman led. Even when she was happy, she wasn't happy. The book was quite compelling, sometimes in a most disgusting way, but an incredibly good read. I kept waiting for the character's luck to change, for something good to happen to her, but it never did. This book was listed as one of the top 20 novels of 1993, and it's defintely worth that distinction. Feel free to email with any questions. ~LeAnn
