An anthology of excerpts on topics such as Why Walk?, On the Road, In the City, etc. I liked that the anthology included some wild card writers on walking, such as Werner Herzog & Margaret Visser, as well as the usual travel writers (Eric Newby, Patrick Leigh Fermor, Paul Theroux) and novelists and poets famous for their love of writing (Jane Austen, Wordsworth, Thoreau).
