This is a great epic history novel. If you liked Clan of the Cave Bear, this book is for you. Finn is an adopted member of the clan who is viewed skeptically by most members of the clan. Finn tries hard to be accepted fully but then one of the most powerful taboos of all was shattered. Finn had to flee and live outcast until the time was right to return and let fate take its course.
