Study of how many friends a person actually needs in their life in order to be happy, and what benefits each type of friend brings to the friendship. Makes you think about your own friends and what you provide for them, as well as what you benefit from them. Also looks at friendships in the workplace and how they impact success for a team or a company. Several examples of what different types of friends provide for others, and warns against relying on just one person to provide all your needs. Some common sense, but worth repeating as can be easy to forget. I did not go so far as log on for the online workshop project so I can't comment about that section of the research.
