This is the diary of the Fox as written by Captain Francis McClintock. The expedition finally found the last remnants of the ill-fated Franklin expedition to find the Northwest Passage in 1847. The journal is not just ships notes, but life at sea in the northern latitudes and encounters on land, adventures and discoveries. Very interesting first-hand account.
