I've checked My Account, I've checked the blog, the Help Center, I've checked my email, I am digging through the forums.. what is this membership and fees thing people is talking about??

There are already about ten topics started about this, the main one being the topic titled "membership and fees." The email is reproduced on page 1.

Why this isn't more transparent, I don't know...

Everyone should have received an email notification on 1 FEB.

"Should have" being the operative word. I did not receive an email about this. I wonder how many others didn't, and why.

They should have posted something officially on the front page of this site when they first sent out emails. 

Just my feeling about it though.

Check your Club Communications on your My Account page to see if your email provider blocked its delivery.

Everyone was not supposed to receive the email on the same day, they roll these things out slowly.  I agree it should have been posted on the home page.

I have still not received an email from PBS about the membership fees. I have checked Club Communications and my spam folder. Nada.

I only learned about the fees and membership categories from reading the discussion forums. I agree that an announcement should have also been posted on our home pages with a link for more detailed information. The emails were a good step to alert members who don't log in frequently, but not all of us have gotten the email. In addition, an announcement on the our home pages with a link to FAQs About Annual Memberships would be a good reference source.
