My bookshelf has two books that are on "The Wish List", however, I've never received any info letting me know who wants them.  Is there a way to find out who the 2 members are that are "wishing" for a couple of books that I have listed.  Any info would help.

Jill--

Welcome to PBS!

It depends on the situation.  Are the books on "Wish List Hold" on your "My Account" page?  If so, they're waiting to be accepted by a wishing member.  Or, it could be that the ISBN you've posted is not one someone is wishing for (sometimes folks want the paperback, hardcover, large print, whatever version) instead.

There is no way to find out who wants a particular book in the system; you just have to wait until someone orders it from you.

Cheers,

Catt

I would compare the ISBN and binding type. I would also put those books on my reminder list to see how many of my version are posted.  If there's a bunch of your version posted already then mostly likely those people only want the WL version.  If the WL version is Lrg Print and yours is a mass market paperback-than they probably don't want your version.

Usually I find if I post a similar binding but dif ISBN to a book that's WL it's ordered pretty quickly just from being on the Books Posted Today page. One time I tagged the WL version of  a paperback that I had in the same binding but dif ISBN.  I just tagged it with "posted with ISBN#XXX"  The book was ordered very quickly and actually developed a WL.  You could also post in the book bazaar which WL books you have in a different format. Sometimes people WL hardback with take a paperback or vice versa.

The system does send out an email when a different version of a WL book has been posted.  But some people turn that option off. I have it turned off. I WL a lot of audio books that are posted in hardback or paperback on PBS.  I got tired of the emails since it would send one every day for each book for each binding that was posted.  Annoying.

Jill, are they listed as wish list books on your bookshelf, or did you find the same title, but not the same ISBN, on the club wish list?  If they are listed as wish list books on your bookshelf, are they books you have posted, or are they on bookshelf hold?
