instead of next in line. The book has a long WL so it's not an issue of the only wisher keeps letting it time out and the rewishes it. I have my shelf on hold so I have to unhold it to get it the next person. I hit the PM button to see who the next person was and if I might have anything else on their WL in my TBR. This person has a unique name so I know it's the same one. They look inactive to me. I know you can't always go by bookshelf/WL but they haven't added a book that stayed on their shelf in 2yrs and the last shown added WL book was over a year ago. I wonder if I should PM the team so I don't have to wait another 48hrs for it to time out. Even if this person wasn't inactive and just forgot to go on vacation-it should have gone to the next person. |

How could it be the same person? I thought it would automatically move on to wisher #2? Is it because you have your shelf on hold? That's the only thing I can think of. Take it off hold long enough to let the request roll over instead of sending it back to the same person. Although if it timed out on them, it wouldn't be on their WL anymore, right? This one is confusing. I guess I'd just PM the team like you said. |

If it times out on them, then the book is removed from their WL. Or it's supposed to be. I'd PM the team since that's not been happening so they can look into it and see what's up. |

It was the same person. It timed out so I took my shelf off hold to get it to go to the next person and it put it to her again. I contacted PBS. They cancelled the transaction and said it was because she was the only wisher and must have rewished the book. But there's 64 people in line for the book. I emailed them back to look into it because it was definately a glitch. This was a really unique name. Not like someone named Mary or Lori or Sue-somethign common. But a name that's just, well not-common. Which is what clued me into the issue to begin with. Then I looked at her WL and it was like deja vu. Anyway-they put it to the next person and it's already been accepted. |
