bookcloseouts.com is currently having a scratch and dent sale, with these books being 20% of the already reduced price.  For example, I noticed a copy of "I, Mona Lisa" for 2.98. You may find something that you've been waiting for, for a long time!!  Check it out.

Happy shopping, Elizabeth! I have found some great deals on that site. If you go to e-bates first and then scroll down to bookcloseouts, you can see where, through e-bates, you can get 6% back on your purchase price!

Okay, let me see if I can explain this. e-bates.com is a web site that involves hundreds of different businesses in which, if you start with e-bates and then go to the store you are interested in, you get a percentage of cash back.  Now, you can go JUST to bookcloseouts.com or, if you go to e-bates.com and then scroll down to bookcloseouts, you will get an additional 6% back on your purchase. You don't get it back immediately. but after you place an order, you will be notified in a few days as to how much is in your e-bates "account". They will eventually send you a check. There is a place on the site that tells you how much you have accumulated (my e-bates) and when you can next request a check. You will be amazed as to how many businesses are involved in this. It is a way to stimulate their business: Sears, Kohls, HP, Barnes and Noble, Mrs Fields, etc, etc. If you are interested, just go to the site and take a look.

Wow, I didn't think I would be doing a promotion, but I use it and I know a lot of others who do too!

I went to bookcloseouts.com and came up with a page error so I went thru the ebates.com and signed up, went to book close outs but it just kept up with the never loading thing. So I'll give it another try tomorrow maybe. SOunds like a great thing to look into tho and I hope I can get thru tomorrow. Thanks for posting.

Sara, You are very welcome. It's like PBS - why keep a good thing to yourself?

Melissa, I hope you tried again and things worked out for you. If you continue to have problems, PM me and we will see if we can get it going for you!
