Have been trying to get live help for a few hours now. I will ask my question here. I cannot resort my WL estimate. I reverts bvack to a title sort. When I try to do other sorts, it sorts them jumbled. andy ideas?

If you have your browser set to clear your cache and cookies when you exit, your preferences for sorting will not be kept.  It will usually default to sorted by title or sorted by PBS Market.

Depending on which browser you use the location will vary.  For Firefox, it is located under the Tools Menu - Options - Privacy.  I can't help you with other browsers as I do not use those.

OK, I went in and checked and I do not have this set to clear the cache each time.

I give up and wrote to PBS. Maybe they know. The estimate sort does not work for me everr now.

Yeah, this answer can really vary but it's definitly not a PBS-generated issue if it has to do with your history/cache/cookies. You'll have to investigate your tool bar. If you have to IE then go to tools, internet options, general (tab) and uncheck the box in browsing history. Other than that, I can't help you either.

Just a suggestion: when you search by estimate now it puts books available in the Marketplace up top regardless of where you are in line for them. Because you could conceviably order it right then and not wait.  So that could be why it looks like it's not sorting properly. 

Also, a word on the estimate sort. It will bump your "1 week' books up to the top and then it always inserts the PBS Market books that are on your WL next. Regardless of where they fall on your estimate list, PBS Market books come next. Go past those and it'll start your estimate list again on books you should be offered in 2 weeks.

Perhaps that's what you're seeing?

Mine don't got directly to the top though ... for some reason it's exactly like I explained above .... those I'll receive in 1 week at the top, PBS Market book and then the estimate list starts at 2 weeks. A little odd, but oh well!

Actually, my Wish List is not sorting correctly right now either. The sort by Estimate is leaving them scattered. Maybe they are working on something and the sort is temporarily messed up or broken.

Sending in Feedback is probably the best thing here. The site can look at the function and see if it working where LH would just be able to guess and recommend common fixes to problems. 

I know if I browse the PBS market, I have to go in and clear my cookies to get my WL to re-sort the way I want it to.

Have you tried clearing your cookies?  In Firefox it's Tools, Options, Privacy, click on "show cookies" and then you can delete cookies one by one or just clear them all.  Also, make sure "accept cookies from sites" is checked off and "clear history when Firefox closes" is not checked off.

If this is a recent change for you, then it could be as Melanie suggests, just a glitch on PBS.

How depressing!  I went to check this out and see how it worked for me.

Apparently I have only one book that has an estimate.  *sigh*

Unless another is buried somewhere because it's jumbled, but I didn't see one scanning down. Just the one lonely estimate.

Mine has only two estimates.  It looks so sad when sorted like that!

Question-  if you clear your cache, does it get rid of all the saved passwords.  In other words, will I have to resign into all the sites again?

Ditto what Cyn said.  I know with Internet Explorer you can choose to have it delete just cookies, just history, just saved passwords, etc. or multiple things at a time. 

Mine still looks like scattered today for Estimate. The rest look right though. I use IE8 and did clear my cache with no changes.
