I just wanted to be sure I understand this correctly: So, when you put your WL on hold, it acts much like a vacation hold, right? So, you continue to move up the WL line as copies are posted (so it 'holds' your place in line), but just don't get offered the book when you get to position one, but are skipped over. Except, unlike vacation hold, auto-request books are skipped over still even if you have credits. Am I understanding this correctly? I don't want to make assumptions and use the feature based on that, and be mistaken. Thanks. :-) |

The new WL hold can be put on specific books. You can pick which ones will be on hold rather than selecting everything. And your bookshelf is not on hold, unlike when you use vacation hold. So some books can be on hold while others are auto or the regular 48 hour offer. |

Autorequest means you will still get WL offers for those books. So if you want no offers you need to have everything off autorequest and then put your WL on hold. They only real change they made was to allow us to put individual books on hold instead of the whole WL and then autorequesting what we don't want held. |

So, you continue to move up the WL line as copies are posted Yes. I have tested this with some books on my WL and I climbed spots. The information on the new wishlist in What's New says that Auto-Requests will be deactivated with the Hold. So if you put the whole thing on Hold (check all and hilt the Hold button) you will not receive offers on any books, regardless of how they are set for Auto-Request. New feature! Putting your whole Wish List on hold:
