I have 2 WL holds showing on my acct page, but 3 books on my bookshelf show the exclamation point which I was told means the book is a WL request.  The star trek book has been on my bookshelf for months and has never had a WL The Book "Ghost Map" has been on WL quite a while but doesn't show as being requested. Could this be a glitch?

(I searched "help" but could find nothing that answered this.)

The third could be on autorequest:

  • If the book is a Wish Listed book, and this notation appears on your bookshelf (instead of appearing as a pending Wish List  offer on your account page):
    • that means the item was set to auto-request on the member's Wish List.
    • An auto-requested item is treated as a regular request; the offer/confirmation step is skipped over by the system and the 1-hr delay applies.

It's also possible that there was only 1 wisher and they had the book on hold for a long time then took it off hold which caused it to be offered to them on WL.  I have books on my WL that I've had on there for a long time.  In fact I think I will check my new library system to see if it has them so I can free up some WL space.
