Hi, all... I appreciate any help with this question...

I had a wish list request show up in my account, so I selected that yes, I wanted the book.  I saw the status then went to "Waiting for Member" and a credit was deducted from my balance.  Today, when I logged in, I saw the credit back, and the book isn't listed in the books that I'm waiting for.  How does this happen?  Is it because the user declined to mail the book?  I just thought it was weird since there's nothing on my account to indicate what happened, and I"m disappointed because it's one of my WL books. 

I guess I will have to learn not to get excited about my WL books until they are in my hot little hand!!

It sounds like the sender decided they couldn't mail the book and canceled the order.  The system refunds your credit when this happens and returns you to your place in the WL line.

It should show up on your Transaction Archive under "Canceled By Sender".

If there are no other copies in the system (other than the one that was just cancelled), your book will be put onto your reminder list.  (I don't think the system will let you reorder until there's another copy available.)
