You know, I've been here for over a year now, and for a long time I thought those of you who had to wash over to your RL because your WL was full were just crazy...how could you possibly have that many WL books?!  Well, this week, I have joined the ranks of those I previously thought crazy :)  I now have about 10 books on my RL that are WL books that will not fit on my WL!  Part of the problem is that a lot of my WL books aren't even published yet, but, if I don't get on the list now, I'll be like 200 or higher!  Ack!

So....hello, My name is Amy, and I am a WL addict.

Lol, I haven't joined those ranks yet, but I do remember the day that I ordered a couple of books from here because I only had one more book left in my TBR. I now have about 160. We were so naive, weren't we?

I haven't hit 200 books on the WL yet...Man. I'm in trouble if I do!  My TBR pile is already huge.  This site becomes far too addictive ;)

I was doing great coasting by in the 150 range.  Then I joined a Paranormal game.  Bad move.  Since June, I have been struggling with the whole 200 rule.  What's worse is that I'm now up to 50 wishlist books on my reminderlist plus the original 100 wait-n-sees.

Yeah, I admit that I couldn't imagine ever hitting 200, but I will say that PBS has helped to make me a more informed book buyer.  Many of the books on my list are sitting there to remind me to buy them the first week they are out.  So I know to not buy some random book this week (especially with all the books on my TBR pile) because book X, Y and Z that I've been waiting for come out next week.  Which reminds me.  I just got my Amazon box of Christmas gifts with 2 wishlist books in it.  (One for myself and one for my mom that I want to read first).  If I can get the boys out of the house tomorrow, I can open the box and take those books off my wishlist and add something more....

I'm a WL overloader too. Mine comes from browsing my buddies wish lists and adding stuff I wan to read myself.

Speaking of which I just added you because I love your WL :)

My WL wouldn't be over 200 if I didn't keep finding long manga/graphic novel series to add to it. :P  *poof* 15 spots gone. *poof* 20 spots gone. *poof* 8 spots gone!

An unlimited wishlist is the ONLY part of the proposed new wishlist plan that I like.  When I get a wishlist offer, I hate having to choose which one book to move over from my reminder list--or to add from my paper lists of books I've heard about from the newspaper, other book sites, other people's wishlists, etc.  Never mind that I couldn't possibly read all of these books in my lifetime, I have to have them on my wishlist!!

I haven't filled mine up yet but I am getting close.  I do have a lot of duplicate books (more than 1 ISBN) that I'm thinking of just getting through Amazon as they are very, very, very slow moving and may take years to get. So if I took those all off that would probably free up 30 or 40 spaces.  I also have a lot of books that aren't out yet (maybe up to 50).

It is nice when I get offered something I have more than one ISBN of and it opens up multiple slots!

I had no idea till this thread that there was a 200 book limit on wl.  I have less than 20 to go, maybe one of the multiple ones i have will open up to clear double the spots.  BTW  I added Amy and Anela because I like your WL

The only reason I think I'm not making my TBR bigger every day is because I've got a lot of obscure books on my WL.  When and if any of them come up...then I might be in trouble.  As it is when I get Wl'd books I have to go to my RL and look at them to see which will make the move.  So now I have the criteria of if it's a book that I have more than one in the series and need it, or it's the first one I see.   If it weren't for those odd books on my WL I'd be wading in higher piles than I am already!  ;D
