I have a book on my WL that was offered to me 6 days ago. The member let it time out and this morning I got the email about it. However, I log in and see it's been offered to me again, but by the same member (I remember their profile after clicking the order more from member button).

I'm just wondering what's going on. Did she really get the email about it timing out to just repost it right away?? Am I going to be stuck waiting with this one person for another week while other books get posted? It's a popular book and posted often. I was offered once before and turned down for RCs before getting this member and the wait time between the two offers was just a day. Now I'm waiting 5 days between offers and it's the same member. Should I cancel and wait a day so someone else requests her book and has to deal with her? I'm all for weeding out inactive members, but I don't want to do it with the same person over and over because they can't accept their offers after posting their books.

You have no option but to wait her out unless there are no other wishers, if you cancel you will remove it from your Wish List and you will end up at the end of the line. as it approaches the time to cancel again, maybe send an email asking if she if having problems since she keeps posting the book and letting it time out.

If she lets it time out a second time and reposts it, I would send in Feedback and ask the Team if something can be done about her because at that point I think she's violating the Tof U by posting a book she does not plan to trade.

Well I'm the only wisher so I wouldn't go to the end of the line. And even if I was suddenly number 2 or 3 in line, I would get the book offered again soon. I started out as #4 a couple weeks ago and was offered the book within a few days. The first person cancelled eventually because of RCs and then I've been stuck in limbo with this one.

I'm guessing the member really meant to accept the order, when she got the cancellation she realized she missed the deadline and reposted the book.  I doubt she would have reposted if she didn't mean to send it, so I'd bet she'll send it out this time!

If she doesn't move it along in a timely fashion this time around, you might want to send her a PM asking her what the deal is. Otherwise, I'd just chalk it up to life getting in her way the first time she posted the book.
