So, I often will WL multiple ISBNs of a book if I don't care what version I get, just so I can read it. In the past, when I've gotten a book I had multiple ISBNs of, I got a little screen that popped up asking if I wanted to delete the other versions. It was always just an automatic response on my part, so I didn't bother paying attention, just clicked.

I just got a PB version of a book I got in HB a couple of weeks ago. Now, did they do away with that little screen? Do I have to manually remove them from my list now? Or, do you think it was just a glitch?

I just received a wishlist book that I had listed in multiple ISNs and when I clicked I wanted to add it to my TBR pile, I got the little screen that asked if I wanted to delete the others.

Is it possible you had the one book on auto-request and the other on 48 hour hold and they just kind of missed each other?

I've received a book on my wishlist several times that I had multiple ISBNs of  on my list.  I've never seen that pop-up box you're asking about......

I've never seen it either.  I now put a note on all my WL ISBN's if there are multiples on my WL.  That way when I get one answered - I can take the others off.   It makes it much easier - especially if I list how many others there are on the WL!

ETA - spelling mistakes - how come I can only see them after I post???

That feature only works on books that are linked in the system, any that are not will not be removed. I have seen it very rarely and I'd recommend checking your WL after receiving a book to make sure they are all removed.

I think I"ve only gotten that message once or twice. So I always check.

I guess my multiple WLd books with different ISBNs have never been linked, as I've never gotten the message.  BTW - how do the books get linked?  Pat
