I remember learning to read and listening to the cassettes as a young kid, and would love for my kids to have the same experience! Unfortunately, you can't find these very often these days.

I am especially looking for the ones that "chime" and prompt you to turn the page.

I actually made these myself when my kids were younger.  I read a bunch of Dr. Sueuss books and other favorites into a tape recorder and played a 'ding' for page-turning!  They loved it b/c it was Mommy's voice!
