This is a wonderful story of a young weasel, Bagley, whose father was famous in the weasel community. Because of his father and the eypatch that he wears, Bagley is famous in his world. But Bagley isn't happy. He is in love with a beautiful fish. The story is well told, and makes a wonderful read-aloud to children. The illustrations are great. My children enjoyed the story, and it made for some great talks about loving someone who isn't like you.

This is a great book. Very much well writtine. Not for children only, it is reminiscent of the Redwall series by Brian Jacques
