 This is off topic but...........

You know I had never read Laymon until I found this site.I have read five of his books and liked them so much that I just ordered a handful more.So here I was puttering along under the impression that I had found a great new author who would keep cranking out great books! That is until this weekend when I read the intro(by Koontz) to ISLAND and discovered that Laymon is actually deceased.Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  I had no idea! Now I will have to hold myself back from just devouring his books in a few sittings!

Don't worry about it. He published a LOT of books, many of them overseas, and they are being re-released by Leisure. They are also releasing some of his unfinished works, which unfortunately are usually not very good, but there are dozens of his books out there. You don't have to slow down. He's been publishing since 1980, and he only died a couple of years ago.
