I have a wishlist book I posted. It got through it's third round of wanting 48 hours for the member to confirm they had credits for it before I had to put my bookshelf on hold. What I'm wondering is, did these members just not check their account? Or did they see they had a wish granted but didn't have credits for it, and then just let the book sit there for 48 hours until it passed to the next person? I know if you hit the "I don't want this book" it goes off your wish list. But is that still the case if you don't have credits? |

Yes, if a member doesn't have credits by the end of 48 to claim the book, she is taken off the WL.
ETA: Help Doc Excerpt When an ISBN on your Wish List is Posted into the system, and you are the first active wisher"in line" for that ISBN, you will get a "Wish List offer" email from PBS.

Odds are that those are abandoned/inactive accounts -- when someone does not respond to X amount of WL offers, their account will be put on hold by PBS, so console yourself with the knowledge that you are helping to clear out inactive accounts...but it is frustrating as the book keeps rolling over to another member! |

You never really know. I had one time out last week on a well-known forum regular. When it was close to timing out, I check her WL and bookshelf and she had posted books to both just a few days before. I was tempted to PM her but I chickened out. Maybe she forgot to go on vacation. Or her computer died. Or she just got busy and couldn't come on for a few days. |
