Very nice page Pammie!  But where's the Walker's contest link?  I must have missed it.  We love Walker's Shortbread Cookies!

I actually made some shortbread cookies about a week ago. It was a very short easy recipe I got from "ltaste of home cookies" book. (Yes, the title is in lower case letters.)  Excellent book!  It was on sale at Michael's Crafts and I had a coupon. Recipe is on pg. 12.

My husband, who's part Scottish, was already working on the 2 boxes of Walkers that were wrapped for under the tree. The special Christmas edition with the 4 Christmas shapes; a bell, snowman, Christmas tree, and angel I think was the 4th.  Anyway, deciding he would do a side by side taste test, hubby swears the ones I made were even better than Walker's!  And while I appreciated his glowing approval, I did not agree with it. A few cookies ended up a bit scorched around the edges, and we rolled them *way* to big!  *But* they were tasty enough that I think batch #2 just might hit it!  =)
