The Last Warriors..once they owned the Plains. Magnificent riders, fierce raiders, the Araphaho outfought their ancient enemies, the Utes, and hunted with great skill and courage among the great herds of buffalo. But the white man came into their land, defacing the earth for gold, building farms, and turning the ancient winter resting place into a town called Denver. For one warrior, the way of peace and cooperation was trampled under a stampede of confusion, cruelty, lies and death. Now, Walks On Wind is a man who lost everything he once held dear. Turning from the Arapahos' past enemies, he pits his courage against a people he cannot understand or defeat, but whom he will haunt until his dying day.
