Small-town sgeriff Shand has more supects then he needed fir this vilent act and two grisley encores. Practically everyone on this island had a powerful motive for doing juliette in. Finding the murderer had the lawman up aginst the wall-literlly, for it was a wall that held the crucial clue to this frightening, facinating puzzle.
Beautiful Juliette is bought off to divorce Arthur, comes back and begins to cause trouble.... for herself, she gets her head bashed in. Great story with strong female characters.
