A first novel by a new author. A pleasant tale, well written, and I've read many like it before. However the author got me interested in her characters and I enjoyed the tale she told. It's written on the easy reading level and contains no graphic sex, so it would be okay, I would think, to give to young teen girls.
Hero has an unattached younger brother, so I imagine there will be further books. I will keep this author in mind.
