I absolutely love this site and want to believe that the people here are honest.  I've been a member of PBS for over a year now, but in the last 4 months, I've started having problems.  I have ordered books and not recieved them!  I get my credit back, so that's not a big deal.  I just feel bad for the sender, who is now out a book AND a credit.

I don't think it's the sender who's at fault, I think the books are simply getting lost in transit.  Is anyone else having similar problems?

How many transactions are you talking about?  If it's just been a couple then there's nothing to worry about.  Books do go lost.  If it's becoming a frequent thing then you need to talk to your post office about not getting mail.  I had to make a complaint about my mailperson when I first moved here.. At first I let the mistakes go because we had just moved in. But when a few months later I was stilling getting wrong mail and having mail turn up from my neighbors or in my newspaper box-and one time I found a neighbors package on my front porch. I went to bring it to them and 3 of my packages were on their porch. Mail from houses on different streets.  No mail for several days in a row then a huge stack of it crammed into my newspaper box.  The problems stopped once I made a complaint. My name is on the mail box as well as my house number and that is on my house and even the end of my driveway.   I had 2 books go lost in the time that I never did get.  I'm assuming at this point they were misdelivered.

Anyway I never got a reprimand of any kind from PBS from having those books go lost so close together even when 1 had a DC that showed scanned as delivered.  Don't know where they delivered it but it wasn't to my house.  I've had 2 more go lost since then and still no reprimand from PBS.  So I think you'd have to have several go lost in a short time for them to get worried about you.

It happened in February for the first time, then again in in June and July.    Not often at all I think.

I'll check with my Post Office, but I just don't want to get in trouble with PBS.

Thanks for the advise, Mary
