Anyone have a copy of "The Other Queen"?  Postable or not, I am really interested in it and I dont seem to be moving about on the wish list for it.  Please let me know if you do.  Author is Philippa Gregory.  I really appreciate it!

The book isn't coming out till 9/9/08, that's why the WL isn't moving.

I didn't think it was "against the rules".  I know that TPTB prefer that we go by FIFO, but I frequently I see forums offers that say " I have so and so WL book, anybody want it?  Will post tomorrow evening if no one takes it" or something like that.  You can also post a book directly to someone's WL. Where in the rules does it say that you can't do that?  Not trying to be difficlut - just asking.

Actually, it is against the Book Bazaar Rules (in the sticky red thread at the top of the forum) to ask for or offer a WL book. If you are seeing those posts, they are either offering an unpostable copy, one with an unWLed ISBN, or breaking the rules. Some of the genre forums allow offering of WL books, but none of the ones I frequent allow asking for them.

General Rules in the Book Bazaar:

(6) No trying to jump the Wish List "line" by offering or asking for postable Wish Listed books.  Postable Wish Listed books should be posted and swapped "officially".  This of course does not apply to posts advertising an alternate ISBN  (or non-ISBN version) of a Wish Listed title; it is fine to advertise that you have those posted to your bookshelf.
