While I appreciate this thread (and its longevity), wouldn't it be nicer / easier if PBS included a "purchase with x credits" button on the membership renewal page?

Yes Larry, it would be easier.  I know if you contact the help center about ways to pay for a membership, they will mention this thread.  

This is a good time to mention that everyone who purchased (or had memberships purchased for them) when the change over occurred two years ago are coming up for renewal.  They will receive their first reminder in mid January.  We will receive a rush of membership requests.  Please PM me when members contact you directly so I can move you down the list.  If you get more requests than you can handle, please respond that you are currently helping another member, could they please contact the next person on the list.  I will do my best to keep up with the list, but I need you all to help by letting me know when you need to be moved!
