I searched ALL BOOKS, and that was yesterday, and although someone said somewhere else that searching an isbn sometimes would trigger it to be added on to the site, it's still not here.  Dang!

I have had that same problem and the only way I have come up with a solution is to post the book with the isbn and it will probably prompt you to enter all the information and enter everything you can. Once it is in the system, wish for it, and then delete the book from your bookshelf. Awkward and time-consuming, but it works!

Sally's method should only be used if you have most of the information for the book. If all you have is an ISBN, please don't post it. The many listings added to the database listed like Untitled: Third Book in the Trilogy by Author Z cause problems because there often isn't enough information in them to get updated automatically so unless the member adding it like that comes back and fixes it, it will sit there without any of the correct information.  Books listed well in advance of their release often get title changes and those are a PITA because the site Admin have to get involved to change a title instead of a basic data edit approved by the data team.

The system does often get triggered to look for a book by the search, but sometimes the next database upgrade isn't right away so just keep looking.
