Caring for his daughter Annabelle is beyond divorced cop turned novelist Max Murdock, and he can't continue depending on his mother for help. A newspaper ad leads him to widowed mom Zoe Barlow, who's willing to babysit. For a while, everything's perfect, then the business and the personal blur. Though attracted to Zoe and fond of her three boys, Max isn't prepared to be the husband and father they needuntil he realizes what he's giving up by letting them go.
