Topic: Wanted - UK & US magazines for Cr (no deal needed!) (updated 2/20)

I know that magazines are unpostable by nature, but condition is very negotiable as well (partial magazines/clippings/posters/articles potentially fine). I am looking for roughly 2012-current. I'm happy to get 1 or several; I figure it's a long-shot, but if you happened to have amassed some at any point (or know someone that has) then it'd be a great way to clear them out ^.~

UK magazines:

  • teen magazines (Shout, Top of the Pops, We heartPops, etc.)
  • First Car: The Young Driver's Mag - issue #20 (Charlie McDonnell cover)

UK newspapers:

  • any clippings or flyers that feature Dan Howell and Phil Lester (Youtubers known as Danisnotonfire & AmazingPhil)

US magazines:

  • Seventeen - September 2015
  • any teen magazines with features on Tyler Oakley

You might have more luck with this request in the Random Acts of Kindness forum. You can't post or send magazines for credit because they aren't eligible for media rate shipping.

Thanks for the suggestion! I hadn't actually thought of asking there, but the downside is that we're not allowed to offer any compensation in the RAOK and I'm really perfectly willing to pay a fair "price" for them. I checked the rules post (I'm not sure if I did originally, which I really should have if I didn't), but while magazines are unpostable, they are not considered untradeable for credits according to rule #8 in the forum sticky post.

  • (8) Swapping of "unpostables" in this forum
  • It is OK to offer unpostable media (such as magazines) for credits in "unofficial" swaps in this forum, or as freebies/incentives to order from a Bookshelf .

Not facetiously, thank you for the RAOK idea because I really just want to increase my chance of finding these and that seems like it might be a good avenue to try if the Bazaar doesn't pan out.

I'm still looking for you and don't anyone worry about credits, if I find them (nieces and messy rooms!) you are welcome to them, no credits needed  :-)
